Iceland

Iceland appears to have grown in popularity among tourists over the recent years, and rightly so. The blue lagoon, Northern lights and Reykjavik city centre are all things I believe everyone should have the chance to see. It is like no other place I have visited so far. The colder climate calls for an entirely different ‘holiday’ experience but it is well worth all the extra layers.

We chose to stay in a studio flat style apartment as this seemed to be the most convenient way to go. We stayed in the heart of Reykjavik where trips to see the northern lights and visit the blue lagoon were readily available. The relaxed atmosphere of the city and friendliness of the locals meant the whole trip was extremely comfortable. I will be sure to visit again in the near future.

  1. Gorgeous photos.

We visited Iceland last winter…but didn’t manage to visit the Blue lagoon. Oops – total tourist fail!! We did find out of the natural hot springs out in the middle of nowhere though. It was amaaazing.
